DISASSEMBLE:

1. Make sure slide is forward.

2. Remove two takedown pins above the trigger. The larger pin removes best from the left side and the smaller from the right side. 

3. Remove pistol grip by Allen wrench.

4. Pull out trigger assembly. 

5. Remove magazine extension: 

• unscrew swivel assembly screw and remove swivel assembly.

• unscrew the end of the magazine extension - be careful of the spring.

• unscrew and remove the magazine tube coupling. 

6. Remove barrel. 

7. Slide out forend assembly while pressing left shell latch so it doesn't get caught. Pieces will fall when taken out, so do it over a table.

REASSEMBLE:

9. Putting the forend back on sucks. You have to line up all the pieces right -- flat piece fits into the two protruding ends and roundish piece sits on top. Slide the assembly back into the gun. You'll have to depress the right shell latch at first and it'll go much farther than you need it to. Once the right shell latch is down, move the assembly in less than a centimeter. Release the right shell latch and depress the left shell latch to slide it the rest of the way in. There's just a sweet spot for the left shell latch -- it'll either depress or it won't. Good luck. 

*Using your left thumb on the pump to very slowly walk it back helps find the left shell latch sweet spot. 

10. Reverse reassemble from here.
